Hanna & Mike's Hawaii Blog

On our first full day together (Wednesday) we had a beautiful day at the beach! We walked a few blocks from our hotel to Waikiki beach and set up our gazebo close to the clear blue water. Jake had the time of his life splashing around in the ocean, and we even snorkeled a bit. Him and mom saw a turtle even!! We threw the football around and did some people watching for a lot of the day, then went back to the hotel to shower and get ready for a supper outing.

For supper we walked to a nearby centre to find some food. We happened upon a little joint called Banzai Burger, where we discovered some of our all-time favourite burgers!! We got a Hawaiian style burger, a BBQ burger, and their classic “Pipeline Burger” and they were all fantastic! Dad even named his one of his top 4 ever… that’s a big statement coming from him 😁
